Apple unveils New Upgrades to MacBook Pro and Mac Mini
Apple has again grabbed headlines by rolling out its first new products of 2023 on Tuesday. The tech giant announced that the new versions of its two Macs—Mac Mini and MacBook Pro—can be purchased with either M2 Pro or M2 Max chips, the most powerful Apple processors for these Macs to date. What’s in the Store? - MacBook Pro and Mac Mini The Apple M2 Pro is built on top of the M2, offering up to a 12-core CPU, 19-core CPU, and up to 32 GB of unified memory. The M2 Max, on the other hand, offers a 12-core CPU and up to a 38-core GPU, supporting up to 96 GB of unified memory. Alongside this, both processors also comprise a new 16-core Neural Engine and Apple’s proprietary media engine. Although the more powerful M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are replacing the previous M1 Pro and M1 Max Processors on the MacBook Pro, the design of the model will remain the same.
